The UK's best one day hike, accessible from London
SOLD OUTThe Seven Sisters is one of the most beautiful places in the UK and provides the setting for the best one day hike for Londoner's. Super accessible from London, the Seadford to Eastbourne route takes in some of the most beautiful scenery in the South Downs National Park, if not the entire south of England, including the Birling Gap and cliffs at Beachy Head. Starting at Seaford Station (which has regular trains direct from London Victoria) we hike the coastal trail for 14 miles (22.5km) enjoying incredible channel views for the entire route; we finish at Eastbourne Station for direct trains back to the capital. The hike lasts 7-8 hours including lunch and rest stops. Free of any technical sections, it is suitable for anyone with a good level of fitness. Lead by our CEO, Oliver Browne, a professional adventurer and certified Mountain Leader he will be accompanied by all round nice guy, paramedic, and adventurer Callum Lees-Walsh.

The Seven Sisters Day Hike is through beautiful undulating coastal landscapes. We will hike for up to 8 hours, including regular rest breaks. There is some ascending and descending to be done, but anyone with moderate fitness won't find this unduly difficult.
Everyone who joins this hike needs to have a booked place, so please forward the sign up link to your friends.
Please come dressed for a hike in the English countryside. This means hiking shoes or boots, layered clothing and waterproofs - ideally for both the upper and lower portions of your body!
Lunch is not included. Feel free to bring your own, alongside plenty of high-energy snacks. Alternatively, food can be purchase at the National Trust cafe at Birling Gap.
There are lots of exit points along the route and we will see you safely into a taxi or bus to Seaford or Eastbourne.
The path we use is good, but we still recommend wearing hiking shoes.
It's easy to get dehydrated when hiking. We insist you bring at least 2 litres of water.
Trains are by far the best way of joining this linear hike thanks to superb connections with central London.
