FAQs

Mt Kenya can be climbed all year round but during the dry seasons is the perfect time. Mt Kenya has two dry seasons, from December to early March and another from July to October.

A good level of fitness is required for Mt Kenya. If you are comfortable walking for several hours and repeat this the next day then you should be good to go.

Visa requirements are based on your nationality and passport. If you are not an East African national you will most likely be required a visa. You can acquire a visa on the internet or get one at the airport. If you choose to pay for one when arriving at the airport it is best to pay this in cash.
